"The Love You Left Behind" Oil Painting - 16" x 20"

Kayla painted this scene late on Christmas Eve 2023 after an extremely trying year with the loss of several loved ones. She wanted to embody the pain of missing someone, so she painted the love they left behind: a bright, beaming beacon calling one home when the world feels dark and colorless- never to dull or dim.

Original oil painting on cradled wood panel, nestled in a late 1800s gold gesso frame. The frame is in sturdy antique condition and will be left as is, with only a little touch up as to not distract from the painting, but to complement it.

The painting measures 16" x 20". Frame measures 19” x 23.25”
